Ohhh, man, those are looking nice! Although I still can't decide on a wood combo. Has it already been asked if black hardware is an option?

Yes, I remember the idea was mentioned. Without re-reading the entire thread I believe that sebastian said it would be too/more expensive so he decided to go with chrome hardware instead. I'm not sure whether or not that is still the case. However he also mentioned that if you were to ship the hardware you wanted on the guitar he could install that instead.

Also, its great to see some new pics Sebastian the necks look great, were the pickups delivered on monday like merlin had said?

^ that's correct, yeah. I'm gonna get a regular set of 6 Sperzel locking tuners, and get two custom ones with extra large holes. FYI, the maximum gauge of string you can fit through a regular sperzel is around a .058

there's no reason for custom "HOLES"
i have .85 string (f) in ma intrepid....and i only cut the string into two pieces....the thin one (central string) is for the tuner's hole you know and is really stable

The agile Agile 8 strings come with Grover Tuners, not Sperzels, so that doesn't really apply to what he is saying.

What are the scale lengths and number of strings for those neck pictures? I am going to order a seven but am curious how "multiscaley" the 25-27" looks. I can't quite tell from my computer screen without seeing the tuners.

Once I get my tax return I will be ordering one of these bad boys.

The prototype 8 string pictured on the first page was built with a 25"-27" fan rather than the 25"-28" now being offered. So the same fan in a 7 string version would look very similar just missing a string and possibly with different wood combinations depending on what you choose. The look of the 2 inch fan isnt particulary drastic, IMO anyway.

i read that sperzels and grovers have the same hole....and you didn't notice the 0.85 gauge

at least for me to put the F string i cut the outside to put the central string into the tuner

With that 30 fret option, will the perpendicular fret be on a higher fret to balance out the angles, or is that unnecessary? Also does it cost extra?

ok, i have a question about the neck pickup, can i order it slanted or it needs to be straight as a normal guitar?
also ,about using a single coil on the neck from merlin, any extra costs?

Thanks
