Shipping sucks sometimes, cause it takes few weeks sometimes and sometimes few days. About costs of taxes, we both is UE, so there aren't any taxes at all, I pay all taxes sending the guitar to you, you pay nothing more than my price. That's it

Oh thats excellent, well yeah thats removed any and all speculations i've had, you can definately be expecting an order
Thanks for the quick response though! If that goes well, i will go for a NTB variant also. Don't suppose there is any scope for adding Piezo's at all? The mirror which flatters not.... |

there will be enough room for adding piezo in the future, bridge will be based on regular saddles, so no worries with future swap in needed

Oh no sorry, i was enquiring about having Piezo's installed during construction? But im guessing that falls slightly out of the semi-custom profile does it not?
It's not a problem either way, just a luxury i wanted to see if was availible, i will still order if not

Hahaha! You're like me. I keep checking this thread every hour and get just a little more bummed when no one bumps it!

Oh, one more question: Could you make the upper spike in the middle of the headstock rounded like in halsinden's custom 7? I really love that look. You'd only have to move the Roter logo down a bit, which would also look cool.

Will a low E sound good at 28", or will it be too flubby? I am considering getting one of these, and etehr use it as a meshuggah/shred machine, or string it up like Charlie Hunter's 8 EADadgbe.
I plan on getting one either way, the CH style would just be an experiment. Just gotta save up a lot XD |

I don't doubt it would be able to handle it. Tosin abasi (animals as leaders) uses his rg2228 with the 27" scale for EAeadgbe so it works. Just need a heavy enough string.

NEWS 26-11-2009
so I have news and question in the same time. I spoke with Lundgren and he is able to make slanted pickups for my request, but price as you could imagine will be high - 300euro per pickups what is 450$. Any opinions?? |

I personally wouldn't want one, but I imagine it would be nice to have as an option. Most people haven't played a fanned fret guitar so they will likely want to spend as little as possible at first, then maybe if they like it they'll want to buy the Lundgren (or another guitar with the Lundgren in it) later.

I think that might be a nice option to have available. Any idea what they'd sound like in wenge? Also, where can I listen to Merlins? If there's going to be a choice to make with the pickups, that means I have a bit of research to do.
