Yeah, honestly it's hard to really form an opinion based on the recording quality. As long as it sounds good to you in real life that's all that counts.

I would add that you can tell if you would probably really like a pickup or amp or something based on a clip, but you should never decide that you don't like an amp, pickup etc.. based on a clip because you never know how something is set and what tone you could get with your setup.

I ordered the Nailbomb 7 set based only on the clips I heard from kmanick and tim on the bareknuckle site. If they even sound close to that good, I'll be stoked. There were of course a couple clips on there that could have made me not want them, but they weren't close to the tone I would like to get and the settings were not what I would have used. Fizzy etc.. Basically don't judge any of the pickups by a clip.

Is the SG bright or dark? I'm starting to think that the Nailbomb's dangerously close to the my tolerance limit, but that may just be due to me being used to my maple Ibanez.
