Dude I snuck a peak at your pickup Steve (the boxes don't come sealed, if they were I would never have opened it), the 8-string Warpig looks SO FUCKING BRUTAL. I've never seen anything like it. It makes me wish I had an 8-string just so I could install some of those.

Well... I can't say for sure, but it may still not be a bad deal since I don't have to pay VAT and the Euro/Dollar exchange rate would be in your favour. If you tell me what you want, I could do some math and see if it would make any sense for you.

If not, there are dealers over there in Europe I'm sure, you just may end up having to pay more for them. Or maybe not, I'm not positive.

I knew about the boxes, no problem. I'm looking forward to seeing these Warpigs... though they'll be covered in the guitar they're going in

The Coldsweats are being held in reserve in case the AL5/AL8 PAF7 set I have going in the KxK single cut don't work out (or I may say the hell with it and just have Rob put in the Coldsweat set to begin with, as I think the guitar is either in or pre paint).

What guitar is it going on?

The Warpig is just massive sounding. Big low end (a characteristic of the row of hex screws it has on the bass side), cool mid-range grind, lots of bite, etc. The Nailbomb sounds huge too, but it's more focused and tight. Both pickups would work great for any style, but think of the Warpig being ideal for doom, grind, heavy rock, etc and the Nailbomb being ideal for more technical riffage. The Nailbomb is pretty organic sounding too though, it's not like the Painkiller or anything.

That's not to say that the alnico Warpig isn't awesome for technical riffing too, but I'm just making generalizations that may help your decision. I've gotten amazing extreme metal tones out of pickups that were designed for the total opposite. Of course, a lot of people go for the ceramic Warpig to get the best of both worlds, tighter bass and sharper attack.

Despite my generalizations, it really depends on the amp/guitar you're going to be using, but I think the chances are extremely high that you'd be happy with either.
