It likely will be 15-20 minutes north of Boston, right off the highway. If it was too much closer to Boston, I wouldn't be able to carry many of the brands people are excited about due to proximity agreements.

Until then, all I can say is, I've been updating page 1 of this thread with the latest brands who've signed on with us. If you don't see their name on that list it means we don't have a deal yet

It will be a modestly sized boutique shop just north of Boston, specializing in custom shop/high-end guitars and boutique/high-end tube amps. Our goal is to cater to the sevenstring community as well. The store is called The Axe Palace. Here are some of the brands we're tentatively going to be an official dealer for:

Amps: VHT, Diezel, Bogner, Framus, Brunetti, Orange, Dr.Z & more.
Guitars: Bernie Rico Jr, Parker, Michael Sherman, Jackson, Vigier, Washburn, PRS, and more.
Pickups: Bare Knuckle Pickups, Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio.

As the co-owner of the company, as well as the manager of the store, I can definitely make sure to hook you guys up with great deals. I'm going going to be placing orders soon, but I can tell you there will be a few one of a kind 7-strings in that initial order

Get in touch with me if any of those brands interests you, I'll post more details as they become available. We're hoping the physical store can open around May, with a location to be confirmed as soon as next week. It should be a great thing for people in New England, as it's really hard to find places to walk in and try out custom shop guitars or high-end amps like Diezel, Orange, VHT, Framus, etc. In a perfect scenario, we'd hope to try to become sort of the DCGL of the east if you will.

I'm really excited about this, I believe this is a great opportunity for me and the community as well. Definitely stay tuned and feel free to ask any questions or whatever. Wish me luck!

Yes that can be arranged. There are a few people on this site who use VHTs in Europe without any issues. No I did not see your thread, I'll try to find it, but you're welcome to contact me privately and I can try to help you out

I was wondering where the hell this thread went, goddamn.

And I think zimbloth's getting frustrated I'm sure that when (if) he gets one from the C-boys, he's going to make a size 7 flashing epileptic banner on his signature "I AM AN OFFICIAL DEALER OF C---!"

And yeah, I think I'm going with the Amott. So what if it's not Alder and Ebony, I'm more experienced with Mahogany and even if there's a blade switcher no change is needed right away!

Let's not forget about the Sig:X.

Meanwhile Necrophagist will start writing the follow-up to "Epitaph" and hopefully release it by Summer Slaughter 2008. See you there...
Well, at least Psycroptic is good!

Yeah I am frustrated, Caparison is a pain in the ass to deal with. That's why I offered a free Caparison to anyone ninja enough to get them to play ball with us

However if you're dead set on a bolt-on, mahogany body w/ ebony fretboard for $2500 like the CA model, I could certainly do better than that with something else we carry
