...and if you are going boutique, think about Diamond Amps as well possibly, and some more amps that are non-metal orientated, as in a lot of cases you'll move more stuff to the "older" demographic, and you've got to keep sales ticking over innit

You could, however, order in the range if that makes sense, ie, see if you can become a dealer and do them on special order, as to be hnest, with BKP's you have the choice of cermaic or alcinoV so stocking all the options would be a case of stock you couldn't shift easily if that makes sense.

But anyway, nice plan man, hope it works out!
I could see it being worth it if he got them for a special price and was able to sell them below what an average consumer would buy themselves.

Wish you the best of luck my friend.

I must admit though, to being somewhat sceptical as to some of your high-end aspirations. Distributors are historically VERY finicky about who they will sell their stuff to - if they arent a young, up and coming company with no name they often an afford to pick and choose what they stock. My shop has been turned down a Mesa dealership twice now because we stock other amps that compete with. We were only allowed to stock Orange as well as Marshall if the two were in different shops.

Really not trying to piss on your parade, just offering a headsup from what I've found.

PM me!

thats how i just got my set of bareknuckles. The guy that sold me them doesnt stock a huge amount but takes orders, fires them down to Tim and then sells them on at the same price as the BKP website.

that's great news Nick!
Congrats! it would be nice not to have to drive all the way down to Brocton to try any High end amps.(he's the only guy I know that carries Engl or Deizel in the state )
Is Musicman a possible brand to carry?
it would be really nice to be able to walk into a store and actually see a Petrucci 7 in person
everything else sounds great (I'd love to check out a Caparison Dellinger 7 )
good luck with this! Boston could use a store like this!

Can I be the devil on your shoulder?

You're opening a store? How is that a change?

This is a long shot stretch, but I for one would be very curious to give a Cornford a try - some of their low-wattage tube combos look heavenly, and I suspect (after giving "Crystal Planet" countless spins over the years) even with the shitty exchange rate I'd probably consider one of their heads money well spent.

That said, the more brands you carry, the higher your up-front costs will be... So, since there's no guarantee I'd even buy one and since they're still a pretty obscure brand in the states, I won't exactly be let down if you don't.
