Zimbloth, any chance you know how to "insulate" pickup wires? I switched my EMG's for BO's, snipping the wire...unbelievable hum. Mr Falbo said to insulate the wires, so I wrapped a piece of electrical tape around it. no worky.

make sure none of the wires are touching eachother THEN tape them off. then make sure your quick connect is on the right way. totally serious. some seriously respectable people on here have made that mistake with other things, like switching the inputs/outputs on hotplates, installing pickups out of phase, etc

As soon as you have a mailing address, you should join NAMM. It's a membership thing to go to the show. They assign you a number of passes by the type of organization you have. Sign up now and go to Summer NAMM in Nashville for a start.
