I have great news to report!

I just had a wonderful and lengthy discussion with VHT. I learned a lot about their company and the people who work there, I'm really honored for the opportunity to work with them, they're great people. Since they know me already from past interactions, they were really happy to have me involved as well since they know how passionate and sincere I am about their products.

Bottom line? They're sending me the paperwork necessary to get it done, and we'll have a healthy supply of brand new VHT amps in time to open the store. Fuck yes, I'm really excited. Again, if anyone's interested in a Sig:X, Pittbull, Deliverance, whatever, get in touch with me and I'll hook you up!

PS: Speaking of the Sig:X, he took about 20 minutes to explain every intimate detail about the amp, and I have to say it's going to be remarkable. More details on that later on.

That's fucking awesome.

7StringofAblicK-This is my footswitch. it changes channels on my amp - just like on a television, but I only have four channels.

The Sig:X has everything I'm looking for. Of course I will have to play it in your store first, but depending on the price (I'm not sure if it's been confirmed for USA?), I could buy one from you as soon as June.

Bottom line: yes, I'm interested.

Yeah I can't wait to play the Sig;X too. From what he told me, it has the features of the Deliverance and Pittbull rolled into one. While he said you could get similar tones as both those amps, he stressed that it possessed tonal character that is exclusive to the Sig:X. Basically what he relayed to me in a lengthy discussion, was that they've taken everything they've learned from their older models and REALLY developed new ways to improve amp design and tone, and that the Sig:X is pretty much the epitome of endeavor. The features of the amp really are incredible. The thing about VHTs to keep in mind, they have a ton of bells and whistles like other high-end amps, but what sets them apart is every feature/notch on the amp is completely usable and musical. Unlike a lot of other amps where usually they can be detrimental to the tone.

Apparently the people at NAMM loved the Sig:X so much, that their first run of Sig:X's are completely sold out. He told me that they're building the second batch now and they would be ready by the time we opened up shop. We'll be ordering a few of those, I can't wait

VHT did sent me official dealer price sheet for all their products, including the Sig:X, but I don't feel comfortable listing them publicly just yet. Anyone interested is more than welcome to talk to me privately though I can say that they're a good deal cheaper than the Pittbull UL or CLX models, though. That doesn't mean it's lower quality than the UL/CLX, he just explained to me they've developed new methods to make their new models a little more affordable without sacrificing their high-end components and craftsmanship.

Stay tuned

Zimby, I figure I might hijack this thread for a sec.

My EMG Basswood Maple neck&fb is "crappy" IMO. I like the emgs in my Hellraiser, but not my Ibz. Should I switch to passives (I'm thinking the Seymour Duncan's most popular set, what is that Seymour Duncan JB (B) / ’59 (N) p.u. or is it this?) or try Blackouts first or what. Yes, yes, I know...new amp.
