You might want to list many, many advantages of 7's.

I picked up my 7, tuned back to ADGCFAD and like it.

Another idea I had was an "open mic" night, where you could just feature a spotlight on a certain guitar of the week or something, and play a little something based on it. You can earn rep/bucks and have a good time!

Yeah I'll have very detailed descriptions of every guitar on the website. I can't wait to get the Bernie Rico Jr custom 7s in. Most of you guys just have no idea (yet) how incredible those are. Hopefully some of you guys can come play them for yourself and see when the store opens

There'll also be some kind of secure e-merchant stuff as well, but I suspect most people who place orders from around the country/world likely would call/email first anyways.

No they certainly don't suck. My Xiphos 7 is amazing and that's made in Indonesia. I've always been an Ibanez fan, I just don't think they fit the kind of theme we're going for, but we'll see. Perhaps we'll get in touch with Ibanez and see if we could work something out. I know Ibanez are popular and sell well so it wouldn't be a bad idea in theory.

one thing that would improve Ibanez sales is if they came with half-decent pickups for once, but of course that would come at the cost of profits

Even if Ibanez didn't cheap out on all their guitars like that, they'd still have a high profit margin. Their cost-to-retail price ratio is the most egregious in the industry IMO.
