Would you mod pedals from overseas, Joe? A Chaos mod TS7 sounds rather tempting indeed.

Yea, I've sent quite a few overseas. What would you want me to do? Buy it here, mod it, and send it to you? I think that's the cheapest way to go for you guys across the pond. You don't have to pay shipping my way and the pedals are cheaper here. I think loktide said a modded pedal with international shipping cost him about as much as a new pedal overseas. I charge an additional $15 on top of the prices on my site for overseas shipping.

Soooo...

Pedal: $40
Chaos Mod: $40
SS.org discount: -$7
Shipping: $15
--------------------------
Total: $88 US Dollars shipped to your door.

At the moment it's a couple of quid less than a new one from some places , this is very tempting. I'll PM you after I get back from my cross country trip for our 7/7/07 meet, if my bank balance hasn't taken too much of a hit!

1longhorn, Thanks mate!

I'm currently watching a few TS7's on E-bay. Once he mods that one, I'm sending him the one that is currently in my rack.

I'd go for one of these in a heartbeat if I was using a tube amp, but seeing as I'm a Line6 user, I don't really need an overdrive pedal at the moment. I wish I did, because I have major GAS for one, but I don't know if I could find a use for one I may hit you up for a modded Crybaby some day though.

Do you do any/have plans for any mods for other effects (i.e. reverb, delay, chorus, flange, phase, whatever)? It'd be interesting to hear some really unique effects that haven't been heard before in a single pedal, or at all.

Damnit...that Crybaby mod does sound badass...is the price listed for the mod only? How much would you charge for a new pedal with the mods done shipped to me?

As for name ideas:
BallsBaby
VoxBaby
The Hammett Special
The Anti-Hammett Special
WailBaby
NotABaby

I can mod some modulation, delays, etc... I just haven't had time to concentrate on too many of them to come up with something unique. My site will be updated often with new mods showing up here and there.

About the Crybaby. $90 is the price of a new one and that's how much I charge. I don't make any money on buying new pedals, I just do it to make life easier for you guys. All together for a modded new one you're looking at $123.

Also, many will vouch for me when I say that an OD can do wonders for a modeler too! The analog clipping in front of the input just makes it sound better IMO. FWIW I think Bulb uses a Tubescreamer in front of his POD and his tone OWNS!
