Techno, bit of a necrobump but I'm doing a mix of both right now, but I think I'll go exclusively e-scale for 'fanned' instruments.

For those watching the thread - a lot of bad stuff has gone on over the last year or two, but things are getting better, and the guitars are waaay better.

Bad stuff, well... just a chain of setbacks and complications with the guitar building, things that have taken way longer than they should, a guitar destroying itself when it got to a significantly different climate (building a replacement btw), even the weather

Then there's the personal side of things, which hasn't been all rosy either. When you're a solo operation it all effects productivity.

I am trying to imagine how they could be "better" than your other recent guitars Dan, the CF is absolutely killer.

I'm glad to hear that everythings picking back up, I was afraid for the longest time that you'd gone under, what with no updates of any kind for as long as it was. Either way, glad to see progress pics again, I've been in love with your guitars from the first time I saw em.

I'm glad things are looking up for you. I've always found your instruments to be extremely inspiring and beautiful. I told myself over four years ago that I would one day own one. Some time later this year or early next year I'll have to shiot you an email once I've gotten a few things out of the way.

Thankfully not, still here

I'm simply not online much now. I've got too much work to do and I needed to simplify things. Also, because I don't really participate in the forums any more I don't feel right about using the site to promote business.

When I paid for Oni #1 the AUD/USD ratio was something like 1.4. I just paid a deposit for Oni #2 and the ratio was .96 - it's still worth it

I got raped by the exchange rate

It was 7.88 HKD to 1 AUD when I placed the deposit and now it's 8.36 HKD to 1 AUD... and the AUD is still going up!

Ah well, still worth it!
