Rusti 8 string twins!
Here we go with two new builds: a couple of identical 8 strings.
I choosed to go with two builds because programming and working with a cnc takes quite too much time for one build only and since im doing it in my spare time it will take quite long.. Doing this way i will get two guitars in a little more time than one requires. One will be mine and the other one will be available for sale. Specs: 27.5" Scale 24 frets Maple neck with rosewood fillets Ebony fretboard and headstock top Rosewood headstock back Quilted maple carved top and alder body both chambered Hipshot fixed bridge Sperzel locking tuners Bare Knuckle Aftermath on mine and on choice on the one for sale Im not going to put too many comment on the pic cause i since it quite easy to understand, feel free to ask if something is not clear ![]() Unfortunately i lost the pics for the neck gluing part, so here are those right after it: Maple headstock with enoby top ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Maple nick with rosewood fillets ![]() ![]() ![]() Glueing the headstock on the neck ![]() ![]() ![]()

My day couldn't have started any better. I am exite!
One question, is it going to be a neckthrough? or a very deeply set neck like your other? I ask because I noticed the middle strip of maple to be flipped 180° ( ), but probably after having the headstock angle cut into it. I guess that little bit is getting cut anyways.Or perhaps it's just perspective playing tricks on me. Aaaanyways, at this point I'd wish the builder good luck with his build, but I think luck is out of the equation here. Is this... guitar?

![]() You already answered to your question: yeah i flipped the middle strip and it will be cutted. The neck will stop under the pickup and will not go over it like on the older build. Going to post more pics |

Any ideas for the body shapes or are you just gonna keep us guessing?
