Yeah. It's about 90% done. I'm waiting on the Sperzel tuners to arrive so i can do the final assembly and wire it up. I'm as anxious as anyone!

I think i would have gone with a lighter stain or an oil finish. But otherwise its turning out pretty good.

i put on my tester set of tuners today and strung it up. my sperzels should be here this week.

how does it sound you ask? the word "massive" comes to mind......

Set 5 piece laminated neck (maple/red oak/curly maple)
Purpleheart fretboard
Cocobola nut
30" scale with 24 stainless steel frets
Sperzel locking tuners
Hipshot bridge

Ever hear a bunch of Harleys riding down the road?

It sounds huge and mean. It's amazing what the 30" scale can do, tone wise.
