well that settles that!
i have heard that the emma suffers from low headroom and bass clipping issues. a beast and tripple wreck are both on my wish list.
have you had any experience with a 44 magnum used as a power amp to power your pedals?

The EH pedal? No, I haven't.

I was shocked at how artificial and crappy the Emma sounded. At $250, I sold that within 2 days.

Plus, the lack of gain it had to be called a high gain distortion is just sad.

A new Cosmichorus is in the works from Ryan at Dr. Scientist. Sometime next year I'm assuming it will be released.

Which pedal would you say captures a good sort of petrucci tone? Not really rect tone but his smooth mark tone. Also sick collection, I can only dream haha

btw subbed on youtube, im cowcrusher, silly name but at the time I couldnt think of anything but my diablo 2 gamertag lol

Hmm, There are soooo many choices to get Petrucci's tone in the ballpark. I'm gonna suggest one of Wampler's pedals. Even though the Triple Wreck and SLOstortion are high gain, they are VERY smooth. He has others which might be good, but I haven't tried them.

I think if you had the gain somewhere in the middle, not too harsh with the treble, and solo on your neck PU, you'd get there.

I was thinking about either of those pedals but I wasn't sure so I got myself a tight rock which gets me some good tones and is also great as an OD but it isn't very petrucci'esqu. I guess I'll have to try them then haha
