I really like the idea of a limited run with a sort of one-off feature from the rest of the builds. I am not sure what impact it would have on orders from hardward suppliers, but I think choice of # of strings would be an awesome variable and really open any run up to more people.

It may not be the easiest spec to manage as an option, but think of the customer base you could get reach if # of strings was not one of the static specs.

A 27-30" fanned fret 6 sounds pretty awesome and would look brilliant with that offset singlecut shape and a tasty finish...Just saying
