Acacia Custom Guitars

Hey guys,

Haven't posted in here in awhile. Well, I'm no longer working Strictly 7 and I've recently moved out to Los Angeles to pursue music. So far I'm working at a music store while writing material and getting stoked about a project I'll be in soon.

This company, Acacia Custom Guitars, is a company I'll be endorsing with this band.

So if you get a chance, go check out Scott's work, he truly is a talented Luthier and an awesome human being.

I'll be updating this thread with build pics for him, including mine as well.

Good for you, man! Those guitars look cool, but I'd like to see an official website. FB is cool, but it's hard to navigate around without reading through everything.

And is it just me or are there more custom guitar makers popping up than ever before?

Yeah he is in the process of getting his website designed and up. It does seem like they are coming out of the woodwork don't they? Pun intended.

I saw that... it's not strung backwards, so the bridge looks like they angled it the wrong way!

Weird. I just noticed that. Usually they are angled the opposite, for compensation. Hmmm, I'll ask him about that.

The bridge is angled that way because the customer, Freddy from Carnifex, wanted it angled that way. Scott is well aware 99% of bass bridges are angled the opposite because of compensation purposes.

Just to clear things up!

So quick to judge a company off of one pic? haha.

I kid , anyone is allowed to be skeptical about something that is out of the
ordinary and seems to be incorrect or weird.

Though I assure you, his stuff is high quality. He puts a lot of passion into these guitars. Just ask Joe from Within The Ruins, or Freddy from Carnifex!!!
