The new .......... T8 baritone model...
So here is the new 8 string model, this one was custom built for a french customer....

Specs are:

- sipo neck and body (super thin body)
- bloodwood fingerboard
- 24 frets, 28.31'' scale
- hipshot hardware
- luminescent side dots system
- ..........slip nut
- custom ......... 8 string pickups in this case OTT / Rocker set
- The finish on this guitar is my ''pure rust'' elaborated oil finish, but of course I can either finish it all natural or with the black distressed finish...
- the guitar is only 3.2KG
- custom designed pickup mounting rings... (of course I can also build with direct mount if requested)

Working in what I could call the smallest guitar workshop in the world...

4 square meters without any professional dust aspiration system....

Working with such wood would be extremely toxic and the homemade aspiration system I invented would not be able to handle the fangus of that wood....

If I get a special piece of wood like for exemple right now I have 2 zebra tops available, then I will use it on a couple guitars until the wood is gone, only producing a strict minimum instruments with that wood...

But I usually dont use tops on my guitars...

Here are pics of the 8 string I built for my friend Clive, those are the special woods I'm talking about...

This is probably the most special 8 string baritone guitar I ever built because I will never be able to find again such a special wood for the neck and the top is also from the zebrano I'm talking about...

- slab cut zebrano top
- european termited 150 years old walnut neck...

I buy my wood localy (not the fingerboards) and one of my friends runs a huge wood lumberyard and they have some incredible stuff...

I'm lucky because they are very busy selling wood to carpenters and antique restorers but he leaves me go true every single piece of woods untill I find the perfect one.

I then can ask somebody to come with a truck to get it out and we then go and chainsaw it

Occasionally I receive a phone call from him telling me that he has something epic and that I must check it out....

Right now he has 2 huge european walnut trees with massive figurine but I must buy the blanks on that one so its too expensive for me ATM
