That... sorta teal colour is INCREDIBLE. It reminds me of those eerie blues/greens you see in a lot of metal albums cover art. It's sick!

Yo! So i figured i owed everyone a finished guitar.

Just strung her up. Darren's templates for me worked awesome and the pull is 100% straight. Love it.

I've still got the 8 to finish up before taking a hiatus. I might have a guitar here or there, but getting divorced kinda takes a bite outta things.

Awesome, man, simply awesome! If there's anything we all can do to put the bite back INTO things, let us know! I'm sure the majority of the guitar playing world would like to see you continue building. You've got the rare amalgamation of detail, creativity, taste and function.

+1 definitely. They really do have that completely pristine look despite the natural finishes, it's like if a more aggressive Bernie Rico jr. made babies with the style of Dan's Oni guitars

^^It's funny, because nowadays the first thing I do when I get a guitar is set it up, pop the truss rod cover off, and never replace it. And I see now Rico Jr isn't putting covers on either. For whatever reason, I just like the look of no cover and no pup rings these days.

Thx man. I really don't believe in truss rod covers so none of my guitars will ever have one. The keyhole design I came up with lets you actually move hte damn allen key like Dendro said.

Again, I want to thank everyone for the support. You guys really helped.

That being said, it's looking like I'll be back to making a mess in the woodshop around July 1st.

Peeps that I talked to regarding their guitars (Josh, Jeff), your stuff is up on the block first as well. I'm hoping to kick off the start of *finally* doing customs by building a pair of 7's identical to my shedua 6.

Again, you guys kick a lot of ass.

Also - the fine folks at Nordstrand have supported me thru my mess. Unless otherwise requested, stock pickups on every guitar I build are Nordstrands.
