So... Which of these are for sale and how much XD

I read through and just looked at picks and was drooling, quite a few pages back that these were up for grabs, but many have been claimed.

IIRC, Brian hates locking tremolos.

Which is funny, because most of the guitars he owned before this were Ibanez.

I'm wondering myself whether vintage trems would be an option...

I think they are, although they require thicker bodies to make room for the trem block.

He's doing a test install on his old semi-destroyed 8-string body, but I think mine is the guinea pig for installing a Hipshot 6-string vintage trem on a prototype Bowes model.

Granted, I've also sent him a Sustainer and am trying to figure out a way to get a killswitch in there too, so I'm going a bit all-out.

Fixed. When someone pointed out that I had 5 guitars with Floyds and I hadn't put a bar in any of them for almost 4 years, figured I should move on.

I've had a lot of requests for floyds and other trems, so I'll look into sourcing something other than Hipshot trems.

So the katalox's neck is done and shaped properly. I'm just getting the guitar up to 400 before sticking it in a case before clear. The 8 just needs 320 then 400.

The purpleheart mahogany build unfortuantely...there's just too many things that I don't like on it. It's originally built from before I did the wenge 7 with old templates and I really don't think it's remotely up to par. I'm going to talk to the caller of dibs, but I'm either going after the truss with a chisel or someone can take it over for 100 bucks if they want to pay the shipping. Haven't fretted it.

Can't wait to see the katalox done! I was obsessing over that guitar at work today.

Some updates, new logos and something I came up with to stop the most annoying thing I hate about output jacks on every level.

First. Administer proper audio. I love this band.

onto the updates!!

New logos!!

The color of the 8 is first blue/green mixed really dark, sanded back and then a straight pair of emerald green coats. After I let it dry for a couple of hours, I came back with a strong blue wash to get the color I was after. I think it's turning out really nice!

Looking forward to playing this one.

I had f'd up the output jack on the shedua 6 and i was trying to figure out a way to fix it. At the same time, I've been trying to figure out a way to fix the output jack on the wenge 7 as again, I'd f'd it up. So I came up with this, and i think i'll be doing it to all my guitars from here in. It gives you something to tighten the nut to. And it looks neat.

So here's my nice plug cutter and the forstner bit. In the middle you can see the figured walnut plug i made.

It's kinda modular, super clean, and it's really hard to screw up. So yeah, it gets used from here in on.

More coming - i'm currently focusing my efforts on the shedua 6, katalox 7 and the 8 string. They're all pretty close to being done.

can the wood plugs have be a little smaller, meaning the outside diameter being thinner

or would make the wood plugs explode to peices
