Definitely Chris, I have observed much of the same and am sensitive to that. I'm trying my best to keep people updated. I give everyone my phone # and email additionally to posting updates on here. The estimates I give are based on past orders and what the vendor is telling me directly.

I'm as anxious as anyone to get orders out in a timely manner, however it's the nature of custom shops to have orders delayed a bit every so often. Luckily in this case it was just pushed back a week or two and not 2 years or anything

Tim tells me he fully expects this order to ship on Friday. If that doesn't happen, I will let all you know once I get the word from him. I appreciate everyone who has been cool and patient about this, I think it'll be well worth the wait. I'm confident this little delay is an isolated incident as every other order I've placed with BKP has been shipped on time.

Soon I'll be able to place larger orders so I can have these readily available for immediate shipment, instead of having to rely on pre-orders. Until then, expect a 2-3 week turnaround time to get your hands on these

I can say that I was told it would be two weeks or more to get them in and have gotten responses from Nick within a day on questions.. Waiting an extra week or so is cool with me when you get actual updates and even a reason (illness). Anyone that isn't understanding when getting a good deal on high end stuff shouldn't be looking at custom shop or handmade items..

That being said, when you put down a large deposit on a custom guitar and can't get a response from the guy that has your money for a few weeks, it sucks..

Hey Nick, I was talking to some guys in the US that are looking into Bareknuckles, so I told them you're the man to contact when they want to order. Any chance you could PM me your prices on 6 and 7 string humbuckers, just for reference really?

Thanks man that's cool of you. Yes of couse I can PM you the prices. The only reason I don't have prices listed publicly is because the exchange rate fluctuates every day so I prefer to give customers the most accurate prices.

I'll send that PM your way right now.

I was going to PM this but thought it may be of interest to others. How tall are the bkp's normally. I'm asking because the stock pickups on the S7420 I have are short and you have to do a little shimming or routering to make them fit without being too close to the strings.. Thanks...Chris

Based on a spare BKP 6-string I have kicking around here, it looks to be about 13/16ths of an inch tall from the pickup tab to the top of the pickup. The body of the pickup itself is about 9/16th of an inch tall. By comparison, a Seymour Duncan Invader 7 I also have kicking around is a bit taller (I'd estimate 2-3/16ths taller than the BKP 6'er).

I hope that helps.

Good news guys. I officially got word today that the order is completed and ready to ship. I'll let you guys know the moment I get them.

The rest of you guys who are on the newest order, you're next.

Just a thought, if your GPB price is unchanged but your USD price fluctuates based on exchange rates, you could always post GBP prices on your site...

Cool. Assuming Tim is OK with pricing being put out there publically, of course... You're also going to want to put some disclaimer on there on exchange rate fluctuations and rounding and whatnot, as that shit varies over the course of a day and you'll probably want to round to the nearest half dollar or something, and, well, ciome to think of it, maybe it's more trouble than it's worth.
