Good to hear you have started off well with things Nick. I would buy some but well It would be more expensive than just buying them when I visit my folks down there!

I love my warpigs, they are so grindy

If you haven't tried a set of BK, you are really missing out!

Thanks man. Which Warpigs do you use? I'd like to hear some of your thoughts in more detail. I'm about to throw a ceramic Warpig in the bridge of one of my Rico Jr customs. I can't wait to check it out!

Yes, you being in the UK it probably would be easier to just order locally. I think it would be cheaper actually to get it from me, but you'd get it a lot quicker if you got it direct.

It's a race. Will the pickup arrive first, or will the winner be the Snake Oil strings I've been expecting for the last 3 weeks?

For one, I'm gonna be annoyed if the pickup gets here first, haha.

I used to be a big D'addario fan, but these just blow them away in longevity and tone. They just sound better longer, and also have a slightly higher tension, which I like. So far, I've had a set on my maple Ibanez for a few months, and they're still in great shape. If I recall right, they're supposed to be able to last half a year without losing tone, so we'll see what happens.

Which ones are you using? I know the make Nickel and "Rock Formula" sets.

I don't remember. Probably the nickel formula, since I don't need my Ibanez to sound any brighter. The ones I've ordered are Rock Formula, though. It'll work better on the mahogany guitar.
