The Axe Palace (Nick's New Store)

Yup! Here's what I can say so far....

It will be a modestly sized boutique shop in/near Boston, specializing in custom shop/high-end guitars and boutique/high-end tube amps. My goal is to cater to the sevenstring community as well. The store is called The Axe Palace. Here are some of the brands I plan on being an official dealer for:

Amps: VHT, Diezel, Bogner, Framus, Brunetti, Orange, & more.
Guitars: Bernie Rico Jr, Caparison, Parker, Vigier, Jackson, Washburn, PRS, and more.
Pickups: Bare Knuckle Pickups, Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio.

As the owner of the company, I can definitely make sure to hook you guys up with great deals. I'm going going to be placing orders soon, but I can tell you there will be a few one of a kind 7-strings in that initial order

Get in touch with me if any of those brands interests you, I'll post more details as they become available. I'm hoping the physical store can open soon, with a location to be confirmed as soon as next week. It should be a great thing for people in New England, as it's really hard to find places to walk in and try out custom shop guitars or high-end amps like Diezel, Orange, VHT, Framus, etc. In a perfect scenario, we'd hope to try to become sort of the DCGL of the east if you will, but focused more on a select few brands I feel like I can get behind.

I'm really excited about this, I believe this is a great opportunity for me and the community as well. Definitely stay tuned and feel free to ask any questions or whatever. Wish me luck!

Yeah the Rockerverbs are really cool, we'll order 1-2 of those if I recall, along with the Tiny Terror, Thunderverb and a bunch of cool cabs (in orange and black).

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't think I'd carry Madison at this time. I don't want to carry TOO many brands at first while I try to make a name for myself. Madisons might be cool but I have ever played those, and I just don't know how easy it would be to move them.

No problem dude. I can totally see your viewpoint that since they are unknown, they would be a ton more difficult to sell than say a Peavey 5150 or VHT Deliverance. Maybe once you guys take off and start killin' it

Sweet! What are some Caparison models you think people would be interested in most? That's one of the brands I'm not really an expert on yet. I like those TAT snow cloud models, the Christopher Amott signature, and the flat black Angelus HGS model. I assume the Dellingers, Horus, etc models are sweet as well. Perhaps we'd order a 7-string too.

Break a leg, man! I quite dig the Dr. Z stuff I've heard, so it's cool to see that make the list. Suggestion one, if I may: KXK! Their reputation on this board is great, but they seem pretty unknown elsewhere. I imagine that if people get a chance to actually try one in the flesh rather than just speculating about them on messageboards you'd be able to shift as many as you can order. Kinda surprised I'm the first to mention them, actually. Anyway, once again, good luck!

Well, definetly some horus' thats what I'd be interested in, the walnut horus they have is amazing looking, I think its the Horus HGS if I'm not mistaken, definetly some 7 string dellingers, those Orbits are neat too. I'll PM you some more info.

Cool. Yeah I see Caparisons are getting pretty popular these days, I think carrying those would be awesome. I just have to decide which ones to order up front. I'll definitely take what people think here into account for sure
