My New computer
hey guys, I got a new laptop yesterday!!! I love it to bits! its a toshiba Satalite, 14.1" screen, 256( i think ) RAM 20 gig hard drive, wireless adaptor built in. now the shoile thing works great.. but Im having an issue with MSN Messenger! It would work, i keep gettting error 80048820... it keeps saying the service is un available.. the internet works.. however Im running thourhg a WIRED connection since I dont have a wireless router quite yet. I have the free Avast anti-virus software... and I have MSN 7.5 set as the exception... same as in the windows firewall. I think maybe MSN its trying to connect though the wirless connection ( which dosnt exist yet) noit even seeing connection in the back. Does anyone have any ideas

Check to see if your IE is set to offline work. If it is, msn wont work and will give that message I believe.
