Rediscovering games is awesome

I had let a friend of mine borrow Oblivion for a while and I just got it back the other day. I had beaten the main quest with my main character, so I've been running into forts and killing random mauraders I've come across. It's easily the most fun I've had in a while

Anyone else go through something like this?

Fender Standard Telecaster w/ Dimarzio ToneZone(bridge)
Schecter C-7 Blackjack w/ '59(neck) and JB(bridge)
Sigma Acoustic (CGCEGC)
Line6 Flextone III XL

My acoustic stuff
Rucus (Hardcore Punk)

I found my N64 yesterday in the cupboard. I AM going to get fucking Invincibility on Facility on 00 Agent difficulty by beating it in 2:06 dammit! Also WWF No Mercy is still fun. Mario Kart still pwns.

I got into Oblivion again too. I played it on my PC when it came out, but it didn't run very well. So I got the GOTY edition for my PS3 a week ago, and it's way more fun. Looks great and runs smooth, and has all the expansions.

That's pretty much what I did. I really got into Oblivion when it first came out, playing it on my PC, beat the game and all the guilds. Then when GOTY edition came out, I bought it for PS3 and got way into it again, beat the game, all the guilds, Knights of the Nine, and Shivering Isles. Good stuff.

Oblivion, I first got it for the 360 and then played it a ridiculous amount... 60 or 70 hours... then I loaded it up and started playing it on my computer again and spent a further 110 hours on it. I still haven't beat the main quest, but I did all the side ones (Dark Brotherhood being my favorite) and I spent most of my time decorating my house

YES!!!! YES!!! Finally after 8 years I managed to get the Invincibility cheat on GoldenEye by beating Facility on 00 Agent in under 2:05! I had every cheat but that one, it seemed impossible when I first got it. Back in the day I didn't have YouTube to show me the best way, thank you internet!!!! <3

Nice collection I might try to do that with Daedric stuff. It's hard without any Oblivion gates available, but I've been able to find plenty of stuff from mauraders. I downloaded the castle plugin and I'm starting to collect weapons and shit. I have a Daedric Longsword, Shortsword, and Claymore all on a table out in my hall. I wish I could take a screenshot, but it's on the 360.

It'd be way better in the castle, with display cases and that... the house got so crowded after awhile that I couldn't go anywhere without knocking all my shit off the shelves, tables and cabinets and it takes a long time to set it back up again. The upstairs bedroom was strewn with books, all over the place, and one room had all kinds of oddities, and an enormous collection of poison apples, which IMO were the best item in the entire game.
I eventually resorted to picking the locks on the display cases in the nearest castle, and stealing their stuff, and then putting my stuff in them to display. I cleared some of my stuff out and hid lots in the basement, and then used that house as my base of operations. I would constantly prowl on the local populance to satisfy my thirst for blood (because being a vampire was totally badass). It'd be so much more badass to have a castle though! I should look into it and see if any exciting new mods have come out, especially since my new computer runs the game extremely well even with everything maxed.

reminds me of my house in morrowind, if you went in it on a slow computer it would bog it down because I had all my weapons and armour out everywhere

I have to go back and play Final Fantasy 7 every few years.

It's just that good.

TheMissing's GAScon status: GAScon 4... I'm doing pretty good at the moment.
