I beleive the list price for the iPhone over here is £799 (just over $1,600), although my local Apple Store is doing them for 'only' £649 ($1,300).

Welcome to the Foreign economy. Somehow, they manage to make it affordable in the states, but changing the plug shape (the transformer is actually universal) instantly adds hundreds of dollars onto the price.

Isn't that for the unlocked version? The subsidized versions are going for €399.

I dont care much for the iPhone

The touch screen is a pain to text on

Verizon's new LG Voyager is on my list though it has a touch screen and a qwerty keyboard
