![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hey Mr. Blackcock, what's up? Ok, I haven't done that personally, but I know these steps and they should be THE steps. Feel free to correct me, if anyone else knows otherwise. First thing first, assuming you already have the said dvd movie uploaded and saved on your PC's HD. Convert the said file(s) in QuickTime movie format, then save it to your MyVideo folder or whatever folder you use for your iTunes / iPod. That should be it. Please note though, some older Mpeg4 files somehow can't be transferred to the iPod or they lose the audio portion. Only Sissies Cry. Real Men Stand In The Rain and Listen to V-Rock! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ^ now THAT you will either need some sort of software to rip the dvd, or you will need to pay to upgrade your QuickTime to Pro first. I am sure other members here could give you more info, as I really don't have a need to rip my dvd videos. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You need something like DVDFab to decrypt the DVD and create .vob files on your computer: DVDFab - Copy Any DVD to DVDR/PSP/iPod. Fastest DVD Copy Software! Then you need something like iVideo to Go to take those .vob files to encode to MP4 or H.264 for your iPod: http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satelli...=1175714225516 What's notable about DVDFab is that it'll actually work on the more recent Sony DVD's that have the ballbuster encryption on them. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thanks for all the help guys. E-rep for everyone! Jeff- that converter thing isn't needed. The dvdfab actually has a section that allows you to chose what type of device you are putting the dvd on. It works really great. |
