![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Okay this one is part 2, I actually disassembled this first but whatever...and I took these pics when I was taking the new drive out to stick the old one back in so that's why the 120 is in there lol. Okay take off the 2 things on the inside of the hinges for the LCD next to hte battery and then unscrew all the screws on the back (well you don't have to unscrew the top left one because that's if you're taking off hte back and we're not) ![]() This is the reason we took off those pacman-looking thingies (which are a bitch to get off) ![]() YOU MAY BE TEMPTED TO DO THIS!!!!! BUT DO NOT!!! LOL!!!! ![]() ok now do this ![]() kinda obvious what that is flip it over and it looks like this: ![]() ![]() ok now take your screwdriver or whatever and lift up the tabby thingies holding the ribbons in there: ![]() oh yeah there is this silver thingy which covers the PCMCIA slot but I forget it half the time so whatever. Anyway unscrew the screws where the picks are ![]() notice that sticker? use a knife to pick it off and you'll ge this nice looking thing: ![]() yah this laptop is from 99 or something like that, lol...the new ones don't have anything like that which makes me laugh ![]() but anyway this is what it looks like once you lift up from the part at the LCD then pull it off ![]() do the same thing with the ribbon cable over the hard drive as you did before I'm gonna point out the screws for the hard drive: ![]() ![]() and this one you have to get rid of the cables: ![]() like so: ![]() new vs old ![]() this is the cpu/hsf thingamajig ![]() and this is a nice pic: ![]() |
