Ken has disabled reputation
There could be so many things...

First thing that comes to mind is interference. Sometimes wireless devices malfunction because of a new appliance or gadget (highly debatable theory, and I don't put much stock in it, but if there are new "things" in the environment that would affect communication such as cordless phones, Donnie peeing in the corner, etc, take them out of the room and see if that improves it)

After that, I would suggest you shut down your system for a minute or two, not just restart it.

If that doesn't work, I'd try a clean-boot. Looks like you're running XP. If so, here's how to do that:
  1. Start -> Run
  2. type "msconfig" (no quotes) in the run box and hit OK
  3. You're at the system configuration utility, on the General tab. If Normal Startup is selected, go to step 5.
  4. If Selective startup is selected, go to the Services tab, click the "Hide all Microsoft services" box in the lower left corner, then write down which services are running. Then, go to the Startup tab and note which programs are selected to run at startup
  5. If Normal startup is selected, go to the Services tab, click the "Hide all microsoft services" box in the lower left corner. You should now have a short list of services. Click the "Disable All" button. Then go to the Startup tab, and click the "Disable All". Then click "Apply", and the "Close".
  6. You'll be asked to restart your computer. Do so. If the problem clears up, you have another program causing trouble. If things remain the same, go back to the System Configuration utility, click "Normal Startup", then Apply, then Close. After restart, all should be as it was.
  7. You should now take the casing off and pee in it.

Ok, atleast TRY my suggestion, and tell me it doesnt work I get the same problem every now and then, and all I have to do is press the "repair" button under support, in your wireless connections Properties menu.

So go to your internet connections, right click on wireless, go to properties, then support tab, then repair button.

Careful. You can really fuck shit up if you fart around with msconfig w/o knowing what you're disabling.
