Need some advice, getting new 7 string(yeah it's one of these again!)
Title says it all! Now help me...
Oh yeah, supposed to write preferences sorry about that! Okey, bad jokes aside! Basically looking for something in the range of a 600-700 Euro guitar. Regular scale, passive pups, fixed bridge, a pretty standard guitar actually. I play mostly alternative metal in drop A/regular B so not any particularly crazy tunings. Feels like I'm just writing shit, guess I'm getting too tired... ah well, hope you can help me suggest anything from that gibberish! ![]() Thx//Miijk "I love being a guitarist! Used Schecter \ Ibanez 7621 is what I'd pick.
For that budget you'll get new pups for the ibby as well, or if you're lucky they'd be already installed (petrucci set is kinda secondhand stock in theese) Fractal Axe FX Ultra Ibanez RG-7621 w/ D-Activator Ibanez UV777 w/ CL+LF Schecter Jeff Loomis FR w/ 707's So you were chilling in a candlelit cabin with an Ibanez Universe during a huricane-ish storm in Norway, for 30 hours without power, not giving a ....? Alright, really good advice! Thank you guys. I have actually found one how sells a RG7620, It's from 99 so it's quite old tho. But from what I heard guitars from then where built pretty solid!

Another guitar you could check out is the AW-7. A little more cash for that one though!

All 7x2x guitars are old, they were discontinued 10 years ago! Thats why they're so cheap, but they slay everything in that price range ![]() They're usually a bit dinged up and the bridge saddles are usually a little rusty and the pots can be a bit scratchy but they're all cheap and easy fixes , really comfy necks though!

Yeah I'm really interested. From the photos I seen it doesn't look that beat up at all. But I'm going to speak with the guy a little more and we'll see what happens! "I love being a guitarist! To bad it comes with a curse... xD" |

Also I did found one other Ibanez, but the seller only wrote Ibanez RG7 and it's in a sparkly kind of finish... anyone know if it's something to think about?
