I have a custom 27" Interceptor and a Hawker 727. The 27" scale is totally for me.

Definitely prefer the 27 btw how was the whole custom order with rondo? I was looking into Doing it considering how cheap it is and who dosent want a custom guitar but I ended up just ordering the 727 with the natural Satin finish

I have a Septor Elite 725 tuned in CGCEGDG (low to high). So to me the 25 inch scale is perfect, considering I'm "Up" tuned... I guess?

It was great, I got all I wanted at that time. But times have changed and so have my choices on guitar setups.

I'm just gonna post here for the sake of not having to make a new thread. How expensive is the shipping (specifically to Vancouver, BC) if you're buying a guitar brand new? There are a ton of guitars I want but those 27" Septors are very, very appealing.

Not to sure how much it would be to get to you but it shouldn't be too expensive what you can do is go to rondos site and add whichever guitar you want to your cart and you can calculate the shipping costs from there

I enjoyed the hell out of my 925 Intrepid...
Personally, I can't stand the bigger scale lengths... ========================================= ISP Theta Preamp, ISP Theta Combo!!! Rocktron Xpression, Lexicon MPX500, Aria Diamonds with EMG 85, Ibanez Semi-Hollow with EMG HA and HAX, Eminence Swamp Thang and Eminence Sub Woofer! |

I like me some tight tension
727 I like my guitar tone like I like my women, perfect rounded bottom end, cut in the mid section, heavy on the top end, and super tight. Omnium - Atmospheric/Trance/Ambient |

I prefer playing baritones... Not sure what that means for OP, though...
![]() ![]() Agile Pendulum Pro 82728 MN Oceanburst: I ....in' love this thing! The finish on mine is kind of satin-y which I like. All the others I've seen thus far have been glossy. There appear to be one or two high frets just above 12 but I can still get the action pretty damn low. I'll still be looking into having the frets levelled at some point just because I'd like to get rid of buzz altogether. Playing on the fanned frets isn't nearly as difficult as you might think going into it. It's actually very easy to play even w/o looking. I also prefer the tension I get on my lowest string with this setup and I like the fret spacing on 27" scale axes on the higher end, so this works out great for me. ![]() Agile Intrepid 828 EB Spalt This guitar was freakin' awesome. I don't remember finding any high frets on it. BUT... I couldn't really deal with a straight 28.625" scale. It was playable, but it was less comfortable for me than 27". Also, thing sounded SIIIIIIIIICK. I had DiiMarzio DA8s in it. "... and on either side of the river was the tree of life. The leaves of this tree were for the healing of nations." "He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle and the herb for the service of man." "Lifes too short to hate Floyd Roses." |

Back on topic @OP I have just got an Agile Pendulum 72527, the post is here and I love the fan. My other main 7 is a 607b which is a 27" scale and the fan takes the best part of both scale types. If it's an option I'd go with that. Otherwise, I'd say a 27" scale. I just seem to prefer longer scales on guitars. I must have big hands or something

Great guitars for the price. I prefer 25.5 scale and play in a# but if you tune it drop G or something low than a baritone is a must. Good quality, emg... donīt really dig them so swap them out someday. you live in the US so warranty isnīt an issue.

![]() my Pendulum pro 8 is a great instrument for the money, i was really impressed with the fretwork. the cephius pups are a little flat EQ wise. gonna switch em out with lace's when i get the money. my buddy has a 27" interceptor pro and its a great player, on par with any ibanez ive played, the neck is a comfortable medium between a wizard II and a les paul. imo. |

My Septor Pro 727. The 27'' scale is perfect for the Drop G# tuning its in, and its been a fantastic guitar since I swapped the stock actives for a DiMarzio Air Norton 7 and D-Sonic 7

I have a PS-900 and my bro has some of their AL models. They are well made for the price, but the frets are absolute garbage. They are dressed well enough, but they are pretty much made of butter. After just a couple of years, they all have huge grooves in them. I've never seen fret wear out so quickly.
