Sterling JP60 vs Sterling AX30

i was going to put up the ax40,but i just hate locking nuts and floyd roses,they're such a pain to tune.Well anyway,i am going to get a guitar,they both sound cool and look cool but i'm looking for something which is versatile and good for metal,i also need the guitar to be able to handle drop tunings(mostly drop B) well!HELP ME!

I would honestly try to find a used JP100. I have one I bought used for $399 which someone had already put a Crunchlab/Liquifire in it. Fantastic guitar for the money I put in lol. It's the only guitar my friends and I agree on.

If you're not a fan of floyds then don't go that route, obviously.

399?wow!thats one heck of a deal!what are the differences between the jp60 and jp100?

No idea honestly, never played a jp60, never even seen one in person. I just happened to walk into GC and find the JP100. I walked out with it. I went in to get strings lol.

I hear this a lot. Floyd Rose systems are incredibly easy to work with.
It's like riding a bike... Once you learn and get it down, it's soooo simple,
and you'll never forget how to do it.

Or just do like most people do: Just use your Floyd guitar for one tuning.

And if you don't plan on using the Floyd at all, just block it off with some cardboad.
