I'm not sure if those are harder to find in Canada or something, but that seems like a pretty steep price. And by pretty steep, I mean "way too much". I paid $550 for my 7620 with a BKP in the bridge, in pretty much mint condition. That guy's on crack.

It's obviously fake or stolen goods. Nobody would ever sell such a nice guitar

WAY to high. Those sold for $899 new. I sold a mint black one for $450. I would pay $500-550 shipped max.

It's silver, and case queens are silly. Guitars are meant to be beat up.
Even for the super-clean factor, a case queen oldschool UV is something cool. A case queen run of the mill 7620? Meh, not so much. Plus, the "great sounding DiMarzios" in that are New7's, which is the first thing everyone replaces when they get a 7620, because they ....ing blow balls.OP: If you're looking for one, and don't mind a hardtail, a guy on my forum is selling a 7621 w/BKPs for $450. It's silver, I'm pretty sure. It's also too expensive, imo.

Definitely too much but I would probably pay around $600 for it, which is probably $100 more than I'd pay for almost any other 7620, since it's such a case queen.

Yup. Especially considering that the new Premium 7's are only a couple hundred bucks more, brand new, with sexy offset dots. (With the caveat that the lopro edge on the 7620 is a better bridge in general.)

Premium 7s aren't MIJ and don't have that sexy neck. Best thing to do is PM him and see if he will sell cheaper if it doesn't move.

from what I've noticed, the prices for used ibanez RG's that are similar to the 7620 do command a premium used ... I see 7321's og used from 300 to 500 depending in modifications, seen a few s7320's (MII) go for as much as 650 .. it does really seem like it's harder to get seven string anything in canada compared to the US according to my own observations and inferences

I saw this and was immediately heartbroken.
1. It's WAAAAAY over priced. 2. It's the same colour as my RG1570, which is possibly one of my favourite colours. 3. It's everything I've wanted, but as mentioned before is overpriced. |

I got my 7620, royal blue in good condition for about $300. That is well way over the price, and here in Japan you can get one for $400~$600 range (good-new). Do yourself a favour and do a bit more research and get a reasonably priced one. Even the new version of it the RG1527 retails for about $500 here in Japan. So thats basically a rip-off.

I wouldn't pay that. I paid less than that for both my 7620s combined...

Someone with a thick wallet would be wise to be more savvy when buying guitars.

I've bought 4 of them used for..
$400 w/ UV case AND Evo bridge pickup.. very good condition..royal blue $200 bone stock and lil beat up.. royal blue $200 stock and finish completely stripped to wood.. was gunmetal grey $375 stock, but absolutely beautiful.. black so, my guess is that this guy is shooting for a buyer that is desperate for a 7620. Is it worth what he's asking.. if it truly is in nearly unplayed condition, it probably is considering that alot of 7 stringers prefer the 7620 to most other similar Ibanez 7's. However, being patient will pay off as I see these all the time, in great condition and upgraded pickups, for $600 or less. He talks about the stock pickups in 7620 are better than _____. The stock pickups on 7620 are no better than most other stock Ibanez.. and will most likely find themselves in the parts bin after you decide they suck ass compared to almost any other budget high output pickup. Yeah I saw that on eBay before. Definitley not worth it. I'm getting one for $450. Recently, there were about 3 in the classifieds for $550, I'd check those out if your looking for a 7620.
