Advice on puyying emg 707 on a schecter
i have a schecter omen 7 and i was thinking about putting in some emg 707tw active humbuckers, one in the neck and one in the bridge, my question is, would this sound good or would it sound like crap? tell me your opinion and what you think.

The 707 sounds great in my Loomis...not sure exactly how it would change in the basswood on the Omen, but EMGs seem to be pretty consistent between woods, so I'd think it would be a good choice.

Depending on what you want from your sound 81-7, 707, 707x and 707tw all sound good.

Step one, learn how to spell buying.
Step two, get the EMG, it will sound sweet. "The king was pleased with the portrait, as it was very flattering of his girth". |

The finish is walnut satin, the actual body wood is basswood. Also, the omen is routed for passive pickups, so you can't just drop in the EMGs.

If I'm not mistaken, i think you will have to route a bit of space into the pick up cavity to fit the 707 in. The 707's are quite large.
