Amp for 7string
I just bought my first 7stringer (Ibanez RG7420) and I want to buy an amp that can take low tunning... A, G and stuff like that.
I don't have the money yet, but it will come soon  Aw... forgot to mention... the price range: 0-400$  Thanks for the advice! Mihai |

If $400's your cap and/or you're a beginner, I'd say maybe a Line 6 Spider.

Do you need a head or a combo?
What do you have now that isn't cutting it for you? I'd say $400 is a pretty low maximum to be as picky as I am about amps, I don't think you'll have many choices when it comes to amps that will work in a club setting. Maybe Peavey or Crate? |

I agree with Vince in regards to the Line 6 Spider Combo Amp. You can get them in single (12") and dual speakers (10", 12"), I used one for a while before moving to a rack setup... and I'd recommend it..
I also hear good things about the Behringer V-Ampire combo amps.  Both the Line 6 Spider and Behringer V-Amp are both in your price range, and would deliver decent 7-String sound. Good Luck.
