Amp for 7string

I just bought my first 7stringer (Ibanez RG7420) and I want to buy an amp that can take low tunning... A, G and stuff like that.
I don't have the money yet, but it will come soon
Aw... forgot to mention... the price range: 0-400$
Thanks for the advice!

If $400's your cap and/or you're a beginner, I'd say maybe a Line 6 Spider.

Jeez...I was just kidding.

Anyway, how about getting more specific.

What style are you playing?
What type of tones are you into? Examples?
Solid state or tubes?
Amp head or combo?

Do you need a head or a combo?

What do you have now that isn't cutting it for you?

I'd say $400 is a pretty low maximum to be as picky as I am about amps, I don't think you'll have many choices when it comes to amps that will work in a club setting. Maybe Peavey or Crate?

Dude... I live in Romania... 400$ is twice what I make in 1 month of hard labour... ... so... believe me I can't realy go over this kind of cash...
Stile?... well, I prefer stuff like Sevendust, Petrucci, Meshuggah, Opeth, Korn, and so on...
I'd like a raw raw tone... only the distortion must be a fair one from the amp... The rest is mr GNX3's job
I don't currently own a combo, but I want a COMBO!
What do you think about Laney LX65D? Or H&K Warp7?

65W, 12" speaker and 50hz->more responce shoud do it for me
Please help me pick a good one

I agree with Vince in regards to the Line 6 Spider Combo Amp. You can get them in single (12") and dual speakers (10", 12"), I used one for a while before moving to a rack setup... and I'd recommend it..

I also hear good things about the Behringer V-Ampire combo amps.

Both the Line 6 Spider and Behringer V-Amp are both in your price range, and would deliver decent 7-String sound.

Good Luck.
