GHS boomers? strings

hi all, firstly i hope this is in the right place, but i am a beginner.

iv been playing my two new 7 strings about a month (nj 7 string bcr + washburn wg587) im getting them professionally set up in two weeks and i want to get some decent new strings to set them up with, so i can then stay with the same make of strings.

i don't know much about what strings to choose, i play heavy metal, rock etc

are these any good?

thanks

if its too loud, your too old

PERSONALLY, i'd go for a slightly heavier B string (i'd do a 60 on that set, at least.. just me though)... But yeah, that should be decent enough.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

Bassies7string is on a distinguished road
I've been using boomers for years now. Great strings if you want a tight tone.

Never on a warlock, but that particular set is my favorite non-Elixer set of 9's on the market. Great sounding strings, they hold up well, and IMO a .58 is a perfect balance for a 9-42. They also do a 10-60 which is worth a look.

I use the 10-60 set on my Ibanez and I like it. I'd want a BIT more tension in the low-end though (but thats a matter of preference)

I just ordered a bunch of GHS 10-60's from JustStrings.com for a great price. I look forward to giving them a go.

All i've used for at least the last 15 years or so has been Boomers.

I have Boomers .010 to .060 on my Danelectro (can't go any heavier due to the bridge design, and i don't want to drill it out for a larger string), and that's what my Leviiathan will be strung with. Great strings. The bottom string could stand to be a touch heavier, though. On my Dean, i string it up with a standard GBM set, which is .011 to .050, and i put a .070 single on the bottom.

Beelzebloke is a jewel in the rough
If you want to go a bit heavier use the Zakk Wylde set 10/60 & use a 26 for the middle string.

I've found decent 7string sets hard to find in the UK.

I've used Boomers on both my 7s for a while now & they have a nice crisp tone & lack of mud.

For A tuning the 70 slays!
