sartorious has a spectacular aura about
Terminology

So I'm looking for a new 7 on ebay (here, too) and on this page

Schecter Hellraiser C-7 Black Cherry - eBay (item 220213196045 end time Mar-20-08 12:22:06 PDT)

I see "This is NOT a Factory 2nd, Blem, or B-Stock!".

"Blem" seems simple to me: "blemished". But what do "Factory 2nd" and "B-stock" mean? Are they all the same? Do they have any effect on tone or playability, or does that depend on the defect?

The main reason I'm curious is because I'm considering this guy

SCHECTER BLACKJACK C-7 7 STRING GUITAR - eBay (item 130206031307 end time Mar-17-08 03:04:24 PDT)

and it says "IT IS A SCHECTER FACTORY 2ND ( BLEMISHED GUITAR) B STOCK".

Prada3353 will become famous soon enough
Don't quote me on this, but I think that it means that the guitar was cosmetically damaged during production, a small scratch or dent, maybe a miscoloration in the finish, ect... so instead of just scrapping it, they sell it at a lowered, discount price.

Like I said, it's probably only a cosmetic blemish. Those terms you said are all pretty much the same meaning.

If you can't afford the new one, then go for the blemished, its usually better then buying used anyway

I believe Factory second is something that's been returned and refurbished at the factory. Blems are scratch and dent types of things, floor models etc. B stock is generally a blem, if i recall right.

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.
