Hey guys. I figured Beginner Central would be better than Live Sound since this technically doesn't have to do much with live sound, moreso playing live.

I'm in a band with a couple friends, and we're finally getting some songs of our own together. We're hoping to be able to start playing shows as soon as we can, but before we do, I have some questions.

I don't think I've seen bands that play shows without having at least a little bit of merch of their own. How do you guys get your merch? What company, how much does it cost, etc.? What would you recommend here?

Getting shows seems easy enough, but I want to make sure I'm not missing anything. There's a few small club venues around here, and most of the shows there are 5-7 dollars at the door and relatively local/underground bands. So I'm assuming that I would just call up the place and see when I can get a show scheduled and the price would be decided based on how many people were expected to show up?
