Looknohands is deffo the schizzz... shame there's no 7th string option, ( just look @ the high b instead. )

For learning scales try plotting them out on a fretboard map for easy memorization...

I learned a shedload of scales well quick by using fretboard maps & marking out 3-note-per-string box shapes for different positions & keys.
( using 3-note-per -string pattens makes it easier for alternate picking )
Just use coloured dots for the root notes.

Pin 'em up on your wall & away you go!

I'm not an amazing shredder by any means (entirely self-taught) but I gotta say that using fretboard maps has improved my playing loads, especially improv.
It seems that the actual process of marking out the scales yourself kinda imprints the pattern in your head, especially if you work the scale out from it's formula.

You can dload printable blank fretboard maps for 24fret 7string off my site.

On looknohands you get a map of the neck up to fret12 ( after this the pattern repeats )

The dots mark all the available notes that are in the scale&key that you've selected.
There's the option of displaying the note's name ( ie A, C# etc ) on the marker dots.
It's up to you how you use those notes, most people learn scales by using box-shapes.
Scales like minor pentatonic (very commonly used) suit 2-note-per-string boxes, but 3-note-per-string boxes are useful cos they allow your picking direction to flow more easily from string to string.

Look at, for example minor pentatonic in E...
ie: ascending minor pentatonic in E usin 12th position box-shape=
e----------------------------------------------12--15
B-------------------------------------12--15---------
G----------------------------12--14------------------
D-------------------12--14---------------------------
A----------12--14------------------------------------
E-12--15---------------------------------------------

Once you've learned some simple patterns you can shift 'em up or down the neck to enable you to play a scale in any key.
