I can't tune my guitar to D# :(

How do you tune your guitar half-step down? I want to tune my guitar to D#, but I can't do it fine, so any idea?

I tried that I tune my A perfectly, then I puss the 6th fret on the low E string, and tuned in, but it's not accuret

Tune your guitar up in standard. Then, hold the 4th fret of the low E and tune the A string to that pitch and tune your guitar from there.

I am the mask you wear.

What I do is, when i'am in standard and want to tune down to Eb, I first hold down the 6th fret of the B string and tune that down, because, that's what your low E would sound like tuned down a half step, then I just simply press the first fret of the sixth string and tune down, and repeat that for all the strings. Hope this helps!

If you have a tuner with a flat button, press that once and just tune normally.

If you have a tuner (without a flat button) hold down the first fret and tune it to the semi-tone above the desired note.

So, if you were tuning your Low E to D# then you hold down the first fret of the low E and tune that to E, therefore making the open string Eb/D#.

More words here is more words.

6th fret of your B string is an F...

Glory and praise to Thee, Satan, on high,
Where Thou didst reign, in Hell where Thou dost lie,
Vanquished, silent, dreaming eternally.
Grant that my soul some day rest close to Thee
Under the Tree of Knowledge which shall spread
Its branches like a Temple overhead.

I would just get a chromatic tuner. It's a hell of a lot easier to use than a standard one while holding down a fret.

Also, Brett89, what type of bridge are you using on your guitar? If its a Floyd-type bridge you might just be having trouble balancing string tension against spring tension.
