![]() ![]() | I can't tune my guitar to D# :( How do you tune your guitar half-step down? I want to tune my guitar to D#, but I can't do it fine, so any idea? I tried that I tune my A perfectly, then I puss the 6th fret on the low E string, and tuned in, but it's not accuret ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() | What I do is, when i'am in standard and want to tune down to Eb, I first hold down the 6th fret of the B string and tune that down, because, that's what your low E would sound like tuned down a half step, then I just simply press the first fret of the sixth string and tune down, and repeat that for all the strings. So, if you were tuning your Low E to D# then you hold down the first fret of the low E and tune that to E, therefore making the open string Eb/D#. ![]() More words here is more words. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | I would just get a chromatic tuner. It's a hell of a lot easier to use than a standard one while holding down a fret. Also, Brett89, what type of bridge are you using on your guitar? If its a Floyd-type bridge you might just be having trouble balancing string tension against spring tension. |
