Change setup on one's guitar

Hey dudes.

I'm getting sick of having to bring my guitar to pros all the time to have my setup adjusted for the different string gauges and low/high setups I like, and I don't think it's so complicated that it requires wasting 30 bucks on it :P

Are there any good guides out there for how one could change/adjust setup on a guitar with the minimum damage possible?
