Thinking of repainting my 007.

Ok, so i decided to do something about my 007 blackjack that is full of small chips and stuff (and a big one on the back that I just "feel" everytime I pick it up.).

I was thinking of letting someone repaint it for me or doing it myself (first trying it on my old squier so that I kind of know what to do.)
What I really want is someone doing it for me but I cant find anything on people doing that in sweden. And since Im a total noob on this subject I dont know what to do with the binding.

Plz come with some advices!

Du kan alltid pröva gitarrdoktorn åke i Göteborg. Snubben är känd för allsköns ingrepp, och jag pratade med honom själv om att sanda ner min gitarr. Han kan göra det - frågan är dock om du verkligen vill resa ner/frakta gitarren ner till Göteborg.

Does it have a maple top? is it a cap or veneer?

ehhm... I dont think it has a maple top cause its black.

I was thinking white with black binding (that is another problem I have no idea how to handle, the creme binding on the guitar!)
