Repeating sections in powertab.
As the title states...I can't for the life of me figure out how to have sections repeat in powertab (like 2x, 3x, 4x, etc)...soo...anyone know how?
Also, how to repeat 2 sections, like "s2" and "s3" so it'd be s2-s3 s2-s3 s2-s3, etc. |

I'd post pics from Power Tab but I no longer have it, sorry. Basically, to make a section repeat, you have to put "repeat bars" around that section (they're bar lines with dots); when you put down the repeat close bar it will ask how many times you want the section to repeat before it moves on.
As for repeating different sections, you can use codas if you want to sequence distinctly different sections, use the help file that comes with Powertab to see which need to be used where. There's also an "alternate ending" tool that you can use if you want a riff to repeat but end a different way on a certain repeat. ...yeah, I know, that was a pretty dodgy explanation; someone who still has Powertab can clarify and maybe then you'll get it haha. Either way, once you work it out it's quite simple. Good luck! |
