GC Bongo blowout

GC is blowing out EBMM Bongos in store, with the 5 strings seeming to go between 899 and about 1050 from what I can see. They are still $1675 online, so visit your local and ask about the blowout pricing. Be ready to tell the guy on the phone (if you call your local GC about availability) that you are calling for the blowout price on these (not what they have in the computer), as they were completely unaware of the blowouts when I called 2 stores yesterday. When they actually checked the basses themselves, the blowout tags were on them.
These are outstanding basses, and extremely versatile with the 4 band EQ. The 6 strings aren't shipping yet to my knowledge (though you can order them) so this is really only for the 4 and 5 string models.

Damn, I've always (call me a Porcupine Tree fanboi) liked the looks of those things. My Sherman kicks ass and I really don't need a second bass, lol, bit it's tempting nonetheless.

Eh. I like the bongos shape. Never played one, but I don't think i'd buy another EBMM. And i'm probably going to sell my current one.

It's sitting in its case right now because everytime I try to play it, all I can think of is the Kool-Aid man.

Plus the action is pretty shit on it, and im too lazy to set it up.

That's what I was told, though you really can't trust that the GC employees know all that much. GC has new ownership and they may be looking to move product that isn't selling, especially expensive product.
