It's time for a NBD!

Hey guys, I recently came into acquisition of a Js100 guitar, which after I got, I decided that it was time for a new bass rather than a new guitar. I have an old El Degas 4-string p-bass which I love dearly but I will need something more reliable and sturdy for playing live and I'll need something with more versitility. I was hoping you guys could help me choose a new bass because I'm so indecisive. My genre of music is jazz inspired atmospheric music. Think Mogwai or Sigur Ros. Heres a list within my budget ($500CDN)

Squier Vintage Modified '70s Jazz Bass
Squier Vintage Modified 5-string Jazz Bass
Squier Vintage Modified Fretless
Ibanez ATK300
OLP MM3
OLP MM22
Epiphone EB-3

Oh.

Personally, i'd go for a Squier Deluxe Jazz Bass V or an OLP MM32.

Lynk is on a distinguished road
Erm, I don't think there is such a thing as a Squier VM 5 String Jazz. Although I could be wrong.

I would suggest the ATK out of those options though.

If you can find an OLP Tony Levin model, they're absolutely amazing. They look great, sound awesome, and have a really good set of active elecrtonics... and they're cheap too!

Have you tried looking at rondo music online?

They have some nice stuffs.

Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance only hides the truth. And the longer that truth has to hide, the more it stings when it makes itself known.

I have owned 3 basses from them. 2 j basses one fretless the other fretted and a 6 string

There j basses destroy the squier's and there like half the price
