I finaly got my bass after a little wait.
PIKU!! :


Mmm I got myself a nice soft case, light and... soft
Hard enough to protect my new beauty.

wooooo nice retro look, it looks like a mutant child of a jazz bass and a musicman


Very nice 2 pieces ash body (not too heavy wich is a plus)


MM style head with hipshot tuners, pretty good for a somewhat cheap bass.


Gorgeous!

Ok so it's a Cort GB75, it feels great, sound great (but could really benefit pickups change as they aren't fantastic, not bad either) the finish is very clean, the neck is confortable and fast, many sound configuration from the active/passive setup. It certainly need a good setup, the strings are a bit high for me and there's some slight buzzing (nothing disernable if you control your attack).
I'm very happy with it

Strange, my father has a cort bass as well.. Where does the company originate? The bass he has has an active pickup, a 3 band EQ, and this funky blue finish and a fake ebony board. 4 strings.

Cort is a korean manufacturer, they do all korean guitar from Schecter, Ibanez, you name it... From the description your father's bass is a Cort Curbow 4

Oh man, that is a really nice looking bass. I dig the maple fretboard and inlays alot, nice case too!
