I love the maple board with those nice light yellow perloid block inlay, it looks so great and have that snappy sound you can only get with maple. The neck pickup soloed sound so much like an old school JB... I'm gonna wait a little and get a Delano pickup set for it, true jazzbass SC in the neck and an hybrid MM/Jazz in the bridge with matching onboard preamp.
I can't wait to try it out at rehearsal! (I'm going to play bass in a classic rock cover band in a month or so )

I just did a little setup, the action is a bit high for my taste but still very playable. Intonation was almost spot on (only A and G string need a very little adjustment). I tuned it to drop A so I can choose to play standard A or an octave down, a lot of fun on classic songs
If any of you considered it, just go for it, it's a GREAT bass for the money!

Ruins is just really niceRuins is just really nice
indeed.
so far i had only positive experience with Cort guitars, bass for the money you get very well crafted and fine instrument the only minor is the stock pickups and electronics it just sound ok, well no wonder you cant have it all for the price they ask. just install some high end pickups and you have high end quality instrument for half price comparing to other brands

I found a little problem : the low B saddle screw is too long which prevent correct intonation of the string, pretty lame as they don't provide any replacement screws with the bass (they could at least provide few screws, it costs nothing and save your ass in case of a problem, and would be a nice touch saying : "we do care.").
So well I shortened it It's still not ok but another round with my file and it'll be perfect
Why don't they care about this is beyond me, I guess most people don't hear their instrument is not in tune in the upper register
