Are you going by another screen name in some other bass forums, posting recently? I think yes, unless there is someone else just recently looking for a Lefty GT-7 too!

So far all he has been able to get is doubt that they even exist, and then one guy saying how he just saved up enough to buy one when MF discontinued selling them. He got one on e-bay though, eventually. I will keep looking.

Bass Central might be able to locate one. Talk to Beaver Felton over there to see if he can have someone on his staff hunt one down for you. They tend to carry a few lefty basses anyway. So they might have one in stock.

Yeah, I check there often for Musicman basses. Not that I could order one from them or anything..

just a question:
I know you indicated you did not want to get a Galveston; have you ever played one? I never have, but just wondered if there was some special reason you wouldn't consider getting one. If you can't find a Conklin, will you reconsider? Also, are you open to other lefty 7s?
