![]() | Neck dive ![]() I've got a cheap 6 string bass (Douglas Web-846) that suffers from major neck dive. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I'm considering getting rid of it due to this, so any suggestions certainly wouldn't hurt. Thanks! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | a nice leather or suede strap. thats solved all the problems i have. but then, i dont play with a shirt on on stage or at practice, so the leather grabs skin pretty well and prevents it i know planet waves makes a soft rubber strap pad that seems like it would help. anybody around here ever used those? ![]() | For humanity's sake, I don't play shirtless (or live for that matter), but that's an interesting way to solve the problem. I'll look in to those strap pads, though. If that doesn't work, at least the strap will be comfy. Thanks, ibznorange. |

![]() | How would I go about doing this? Just attach something heavy to it? or are there weights I can screw on to the strap button? I've tried a couple straps, and had no luck. Admittedly though, they were not the best quality. Can you recommend a good one? Experimented with that a bit, but nothing good came out of it. Nonetheless, thanks for the tips! |

I have the same problem with all sevens, and switching to a strap that wouldn't "slide" on my shirt did wonders. "...and everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon." |
