Actually, Bill (lailer75) has one just like that too that he scored from the junkyard I believe. He plans on fixing it up or doing something with it.

you should give it a good fixing up, and get some new pickups for it, and it´ll be as good as... not-so-old

Neat! Depending on what it's made of and how it plays, that could be a neat bass if you can find some pickups for it.

Does it have an adjustable truss rod?

You might have to shim that neck if you get it halfway straight.
