victor wooten is one of my idols.

and yes he has a godly tone.

i saw him and steve bailey perform live together and their tones complement each other perfectly.

Definitely the best clean bass tone I've ever heard.

And definitely one of my favourite all-time videos as well. Best bass solo, at any rate. I far prefer anything Vic does on a 4-string over anything anyone's ever done tapping on a 7+ string bass. He's just so friggin' musical it hurts.

Victor Wooten is great, and I love this video, but I can't stand that thumb sweeping technique. It sounds awful to me
